Origin

Every galaxy has its guilds and its armies. Black Holocron isn't either. It's the loose, word-of-mouth network hunters fall into once they get tired of waiting on someone else to deal with the problem — deserters, thieves, bounty skippers, the ones nobody official wants to chase down. No ranks to climb, no dues to pay. You take a contract, you close it, your name gets a little heavier.

We're a community built on top of a real, player-run Star Wars Galaxies Core3 galaxy — the Pre-CU era, before the game got simplified into something else. If you remember when profession trees actually meant something, you're home.

Getting Started

1. Register your account — takes under a minute.
2. Download the client and launcher, patch, and log in.
3. Run the new character creator and pick a starting city — Mos Eisley and Coronet both have easy access to combat trainers.
4. Grind your first combat profession to Novice, then start branching toward Pistoleer, Rifleman, or Teräs Käsi — all viable roads into Bounty Hunter later.
5. Once you're combat-capable, visit a Bounty Hunter trainer to start the profession chain proper.
6. Check the Bounty Board for your first open contract.

The Trade

Bounty Hunter is a full profession chain in Pre-CU — droid tracking, novice/master certifications, and access to Bounty Hunter-only gear and terminals. A few things that matter more here than most places:

• Tracking droids and datapads are your bread and butter for narrowing down a mark's last known position.
• Contracts on the Bounty Board are community-reported, not automated PvP flags — post what you close, and it goes on your record.
• Reputation compounds. The Hall of Fame ranks by total credits earned across closed contracts, not any single big score.

Galaxy Rules

• No exploiting bugs, duping items, or using third-party scripts/macros that automate actions beyond the game's built-in macro system.
• No harassment, no discrimination, no doxxing — on the galaxy or in Discord.
• Bounty contracts are settled in good faith. Fabricating a claim to inflate your Hall of Fame standing gets it pulled and can get you suspended.
• Real-money trading of in-game currency or items is not supported and not protected if something goes wrong.
• Staff calls on disputes are final, but you can always ask for a reason in Discord.
